We designed the hardware and developed the firmware for a hand hygiene compliance system, the touch-free sanitizer dispensers healthcare facilities use to track and encourage handwashing. The work covered the microcontroller and its firmware, the PCB design, RFID, and the magnetic and optical sensors that register each use.
